Basalt Stone – Guillotined Building Stone
Basalt Stone derives from Antrim. When this stone is guillotined, it can have either a ‘split’ face or ‘natural’ face. Split face Basalt has mostly black tones, where the natural face has brown tones
This can be purchased as guillotined rubble. This is suitable for a more natural random build style. It is recommended that a stonemason builds this stone as the stone shape will vary and requires ‘dressing’ when building. It is important to have your quote approved by your stonemason prior to order.
