Donegal Slate, as the name suggests, derives from Donegal. This stone is a colourful, rich natural stone with tones varying from grey, silver and blue to a brown effect. By nature this is a long thin stone which works really well on modern builds.

This can be purchased as guillotined rubble or unguillotined stone.

It is recommended that a stonemason builds this stone as the stone shape will vary and requires ‘dressing’ when building. It is important to have your quote approved by your stonemason prior to order.
